IMG Consulting is currently seeking a Creative Manager who will be responsible for translating client marketing objectives into creative strategies, designs and plans. The Creative Manager will manage concepting, graphic design, collateral development, copywriting, advertising and promotion/event marketing across all of the brand's different initiatives

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive and align creative and marketing plans across various brand platforms, which may include sports, entertainment, music
  • Will be responsible for leading strategic brainstorming sessions, campaign development, creative brief development and directing creative execution
  • Direct the creation and implementation of materials to support individual sponsorship initiatives, including (but not limited to) development of creative elements, preparation of sponsorship/event activation presentations and materials to be distributed to the client
  • Lead projects, critique work and approve final design executions prior to sharing with account team and client
  • Actively participate in client presentations, both in discovery meetings, as well as the presentation of finished creative strategies and execution
  • Establish, develop and maintain creative, conceptual and writing standards
  • Set design parameters and stylistic guidelines consistent with the brand guidelines
  • Ability to think creatively within deadlines and pay acute attention to detail
  • Liaise/interface with account team members, agency partners and internal IMG divisions as necessary
  • Partner with account team to ensure client objectives are being met and act as a unified team
  • Coordinate and manage creative process with current client agency partners (Advertising, Media, PR, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of six (6) years experience in a creative marketing position. Specific disciplines could include: sponsorship marketing and/or event marketing
  • Highly skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark, InDesign, PPT, Flash, HTML, Javascript, etc.
  • Exceptional aesthetic sense and intuitive understanding of design principles
  • Strong creative leadership and project/time management skills
  • Practical experience with sponsorship/event marketing
  • Solid knowledge and interest in sports required
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically
  • Ability to lead creative calls and presentations with internal partners and clients
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and especially visual communication skills
  • Portfolio/examples of previous/current work required
